You can bind a quote into a policy once the recipient has received it and agreed to the terms.

A quote can only be bound into a policy if the quote is in the Quote Sent or Quote Accepted status.

To bind a quote into a policy:

  1. Click the Submissions sidebar tab to open the Submissions page.
  2. Select the specific Submission that holds the Quote you want to bind
  3. Click the View button on the Quote to open its designated page
  4. Navigate to the Actions dropdown at the top of the quote page, and select the Convert to Policy option from the dropdown.
  5. If no Policy Forms exist for this submission, you will be redirected to the Policy Forms page to add them. This step is optional. If Policy Forms are available, clicking Convert to Policy will open the Create Policy modal. In that case, proceed to Step 8.
  6. Click the Next button to lead you to the Review and Confirm page.
  7. Review your Quote, and if it looks good, click the Next button to open the Create Policy modal.
  8. Confirm the recipient of the forms and bills from the policy. If you chose the Broker and Primary Insured option, you would be required to input the email address of the Primary Insured.
  9. Additionally, you can add more people to review and sign off on the forms attached to the quotes by checking the Copy additional recipient for forms checkbox and inputting the additional recipient’s email address.
  10. Select the Create Policy button to bind this Quote into a policy.
